Our Story

The Hocking Valley Youth Sport Center has grown out of a sincere desire to serve youth through sport. We believe that sport and the process of achieving excellence provide children with an unparalleled opportunity for personal growth. With this as his mission, owner and director Michael Serra opened Hocking Valley Gymnastics Center in 1993 with the goal of providing the youth of Fairfield County with a top-notch gymnastics training facility. Since then, our mission has remained the same, but we have expanded our program to include dance and cheerleading. In order to better reflect our expanded program, in 2005 we changed our identity to the Hocking Valley Youth Sport Center, and remain committed to our mission of serving youth through sport.
